ISKCON’s self-proclaimed guru Kirtanananda Swami dressed as a king. Radhanatha Swami couldn't see anything wrong with his behavior. He insisted that Bhaktipada aka Kirtananada Swami was God’s representative on earth even as late as 1993. One of the most notable qualities of psychopathic cult leaders is an insatiable lust for attention.

One of the 11 successor ISKCON gurus aka Kirtanananda Swami is giving class while holding onto young boys. The boy in the front wants nothing to do with him and wants to get away. Radhanatha Swami couldn't figure out this person was a pedophile? How many people give class while holding onto young boys? |

Children at New Vrindavan were being thought to "chant enthusiastically" in glories of ISKCON Guru Kirtananada Swami or else... |
|
Kirtanananda Swami aka Bhaktipad became an infallible guru at about age of 30. His followers at New Vrindavan community considered him to be as good as God and an ambassador of God’s kingdom on earth. Radhanatha Sami was working directly under him during the worst child abuse that happened at New Vrindavan community in 70’s and 80’s.
Kirtanananda Swami is still being considered to be God’s representative on earth by his followers in India: http://www.kirtananandaswami.org/

“Behind the exquisite stained glass, underneath the Marie Antoinette chandeliers, on top of 300 tons of Italian marble, Swami Bhaktipada delivered the word of Krishna and allowed his devotees to break the law.” - review of ‘Holy Cow Swami‘ from the Charleston Gazette by Mary Wade Burnside http://www.amazon.com/Kirtinananda-Bhaktipada-Drescher-Vrindaban-Residents/dp/B000A7Y18U
"I'm left with the impression that Bhaktipad was indeed a meglomanic...the almost comic absurdity of a man claiming to be the supreme representative of God...and people willing to cling to the hope that he really is, no matter what evidence contradicts it..." - review of ‘Holy Cow Swami‘ by Stuart L. Resnic http://www.amazon.com/Kirtinananda-Bhaktipada-Drescher-Vrindaban-Residents/dp/B000A7Y18U
“Cult leaders are often psychopathic and power hungry. They teach their followers that the outside world is evil; that the cult offers the only salvation. This creates an atmosphere of isolation, leading to hopelessness. “ - Nori J. Muster http://www.surrealist.org/betrayalofthespirit/cult.html
“Members learn to see their gurus as “pure devotees” who can do no wrong. The chief paradox of life in ISKCON was to watch supposed pure devotee gurus and other dishonest leaders carry out incredible follies. Some leaders participated in criminal activity, while their cronies enjoyed special favors for their complicity. Many of us spent a great deal of energy fuming over the leaders’ constant displays of hypocrisy. ” - Nori J. Muster, ICSA (International Cultic Studies Association) http://www.icsahome.com/infoserv_articles/muster_nori_mythandthemes_en0501.htm#_ednref9
“One of the big items on the list of injustices (that most members denied) was the gurukula system. During the 1970s and 1980s, the ISKCON schools allowed the emotional, physical, and sexual abuse of hundreds of children. One of the worst things for ex-gurukula victims is the injustice of seeing their perpetrators honored as esteemed elders. The victims know otherwise, of course, but abuse perpetrators in ISKCON portray themselves as Vedic scholars, gurus, and important leaders. It’s part of their disguise. Who would ever suspect a holy man of abuse? For many years, the victims’ accusations went unheard. ” - ICSA (International Cultic Studies Association) http://www.icsahome.com/infoserv_articles/muster_nori_mythandthemes_en0501.htm#_ednref9
Just one year after Srila Prabhupada was poisoned and betrayed by 11 successor gurus, and while a whole scale molestation of Krishna’s children was at full swing at ISKCON schools there was another horrifying incident that took place in Jonestown, Guyana, where a charismatic cult leader Jim Jones poisoned to death hundreds of children as well as his adult followers.
“While generally not psychotic, cult leaders may experience psychotic episodes, which may lead to the destruction of themselves or the group. An extreme example of this is the mass murder-suicide that occurred in November 1978 in Jonestown, Guyana, at the People's Temple led by Jim Jones. On his orders, over 900 men, women, and children perished as Jones deteriorated into what was probably a paranoid psychosis. ” - Captive Hearts Captive Minds (pp. 67-79) by Madeline Landau Tobias and Janja Lalich http://www.dannyhaszard.com/captivehearts.htm
"Psychopaths or Narcissists really like attention. They like you to swoon over them. They want you to think that they are "all that"... They want you to kiss their feet... And when you don't do that it really upsets them. They want that drug. They need that fix, and they want you my dear to give it to them. But the moment you take him back, guess what? He's back to his lying cheating sorry self." - The No Contact Rule by TJ Sparrow http://groups.msn.com/psychopath/nocontactwhyisitsoimportant.msnw
“The Charismatic Leader manipulates others to obtain status, control, compliance, money, attention. His effective brainwashing tactics often found in religious cults or political venues. He targets the naive, vulnerable, uneducated or mentally weak. He falsely portrays himself to be virtuous, the perfect father, husband, spiritual leader, advisor, mentor, friend. ” http://groups.msn.com/PSYCHOPATH/characteristicsofapsychopath.msnw
