“Swarup das (Steven Hebel) has recently posted his email address on some of Navadvipchandra's postings at Flikrz. That address is hebelswarup@sbcglobal.net. He has made his email address available online and he would be able to add some to this discussion, having been a "Golden Associate" (NV umbrella financial group), and since his children were abused by Sri Galima. Sri Galima was never punished. I was forced to secret Sri Galima back into the states. From his arrival in Boston, he made his way home to his father, who paid to make his legal problems to go away. Sri Galima's father was a cattle rancher in San Antonio, Texas. Perhaps Gokulananda prabhu would like to explain Radhanath's connection with Sri Galima, how they funded Sri Galima's stay in India at Jaipur, and what help Radhanath was to Kanka and her children in their grief.”

"...as Hubner and Gruson (1990) alleged: Boys were ordered to come to the front of the class and sit on [their teacher] Sri Galima’s lap. Sri Galima then anally raped them, right in front of the class. Other boys were ordered to stay after class. Sri Galima tied their hands to their desks with duct tape and then assaulted them in the same way. At night, Fredrick DeFrancisco, Sri Galima’s assistant, crept into the boys’ sleeping bags and performed oral sex on them."

Review of ‘Stripping the Guru’ from amazon.com
Stripping the Gurus is superb--one of the best books of its kind I have ever read. The research is meticulous, the writing engaging, and the overall thesis: devastatingly true. A stellar book. --Dr. David C. Lane, California State University

Armed with wit, insight, and truly astonishing research, Geoffrey Falk utterly demolishes the notion of the enlightened guru who can lead devotees to nirvana. This entertaining and yet deadly serious book should be read by everyone pursuing or thinking of pursuing the path of guru devotion. --
John Horgan, author of Rational Mysticism

Geoffrey Falk's delightful but disturbing unmasking of religious prophets and preachers who command a vast following is a welcome contribution to the literature on the gurus and god-men of all religions. --
Dr. Narasingha P. Sil, Western Oregon University

No one involved in contemporary spirituality can afford to ignore this book. It exposes the darker side of modern spiritual movements, those embarrassing--sometime vicious or criminal--reports which the leaders of these movements prefer to hide. With wit and humility, and without abandoning the verities of religion, Falk has provided a corrective critique of groups that peddle enlightenment and transcendence. A must! --
Len Oakes, author of Prophetic Charisma

This gripping and disturbing book should be read by anyone who finds themself revering a spiritual teacher. --
Susan Blackmore, author of The Meme Machine

Please note that your latest advertisement titled "Wanted: Devotees to Sell Krishna Art" from Sriji Das is actually from Sri Galima Das, notorious child molester from New Vrindavan. Sri Galima (Gary Gardner) recently changed his name to Sriji and has a church (temple) registered in Austin, Texas.

I would request you to please remove his advertisement until you can verify the history of Sri Galima in New Vrindavan.

[Editor's note: Thanks to the many readers who brought this to our attention. Chakra receives numerous ads and we have no way of confirming the identities of the authors. Therefore we rely on feedback from readers. We have removed the ad in question]
