Now the 'cat is out of the bag' and you will have a hard time spinning the same "innocent" lies to the assembled devotees... I've read your confession letter posted on the Internet... Your close friend Kirtanananda is a dirty old man, in a wheelchair and still looking for young boys...Utilize the time you have left to develop some honesty and integrity.

Rocana Prabhu's recent article on Radhanatha Swami brings up a lot of questions surrounding Kirtanananda's leaders and henchmen, many of whom have slipped back into ISKCON in recent years as top leaders...My first question is to ISKCON Guru and GBC spokesman Umapati Swami...why he [Umapati Swami] doesn't write his memories of the time he initiated notorious devotee murderer Tirtha Das into the sannyasa ashram in prison...What exactly was your frame of thought when you wrote the English song "Prayers to the Spiritual Master". The first lines of the song go "All glories to you, Bhaktipada, Lord Krishna's servant dear, You worship at His feet and spread his message far and near."

“New Vrindaban was not a “cesspit of criminal activities.” Certainly these things went on, as we discovered years later, ...a handful of our 700 residents knew about or participated in these heinous activities. I believe most of us... loved New Vrindaban, and we were for the most part happily spending our days chanting Hare Krishna..., at least until our faith was shattered by reasonable proof of Kirtanananda’s crimes and deviations… Umapati Swami left New Vrindaban and Kirtanananda's service in 1988… I believe it is significant to note that Umapati Swami left New Vrindaban and severed his connection with Kirtanananda at least five or six YEARS before some other prominent leaders-- today serving as ISKCON gurus and GBC members--who did not leave Kirtanananda's service until 1993 or 1994."                                              http://harekrsna.com/sun/editorials/12-06/editorials1034.htm     - from A Reply to Umapati Swami, Asked & Answered by Hrishikesh dasa (Henry Doktorski)

ISKCON Guru Umapati Swami writes lyrics in glorification of a self-proclaimed Guru and ISKCON GBC Kirtanananda Swami Bhaktipada [below].

An elected Guru and ISKCON GBC, Umapati Swami

Umapati Swami with his old friend Jayapataka Swami

Gopal Krishna Goswami with Kirtanananda Swami. New Delhi, India 2005.

In Umapati Swami's recent reply we hear the same song that all of Kirtanananda's henchmen have sung for years. Each one tries to pretend he was an ostrich with his head in the sand, not seeing a thing that went on around him.
